Episode 15 – Empathy and Tolerance

Summary

I am sure you have heard the phrase, “Don’t judge someone until you walk a mile in their shoes.” Being empathetic and tolerant in an already biased world, can be difficult, especially when what the other person is doing or saying is hurtful. On today’s episode we’re going to talk about empathy. Empathy is the capacity to understand or feel what another person is experiencing from within their frame of reference, that is, the capacity to place oneself in another’s position… and we need to understand how important empathy really is when understanding what other people are going through and why they do what they do as a part of creating success in our life.

Episode 12 – Stopping Just Short of the Finish Line

Summary

Today’s episode is about giving up just before the finish line. This is the biggest mistake that most people make when they come across a difficulty or what they consider a failure. Perseverance is defined as persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. The key lesson to take away today is that there is a reason why only 5 to 8% of people are truly successful and achieve their dreams. The reason for this is because they stop just short of achieving their goal due to a difficulty, setback or challenge along the way. As well, you will learn the importance of seeking counsel or advice when a difficulty or setback crosses your path.
